Sunset Beach

Sunset Beach is a beautiful south-facing beach which is only three miles long. Visitors and locals enjoy visiting a popular spot, Bird Island. There you will find the Kindred Spirit mailbox where you can leave your well-wishes in a notebook for all to read. Sunset Beach is also known for its turtle watches. Sea Turtles are a familiar sight here and love to make the beaches of the South Brunswick Islands their home. The Purple Sandpiper and Loggerhead Sea Turtles are only found on Bird Island.

Sunset Beach also has numerous quaint shopping destinations that are sure to please any shop-a-holic. You can also find Ingram Planetarium just a short drive from the island. Here you will see the galaxy in an exciting show of lights and lasers.
